The Board of Directors of NASW Oregon Chapter is elected by the chapter members or appointed by the Chapter President to provide advisory governance and lead fundraising efforts, membership recruitment, implementing the strategic plan and supporting the Executive Director and reviewing his/her/their performance.
Time commitment varies from 1 - 5 hours per week, 6 board meetings per year (usually on Saturdays from 9:30am -
3:30pm) in the Portland Metro area.
